Comet Corner

Comet Corner is our school store, offering fun and affordable items for students, including pencils, fidgets, and seasonal goodies, throughout the school year. The store operates from 7:40 AM to 8:10 AM, so please arrive promptly at 7:30 AM for your shift to set up and prepare.

As a volunteer, you'll assist students with their purchases and handle cash transactions. A PTO member will be present to open the store and provide a brief overview of the operations. Please be comfortable making quick and accurate change, as the store is cash-only, and all items are priced at $2.50 or less.

Volunteers are required to have a background check that is less than 2 years old. Thank you for helping make Comet Corner a success!

Staff Appreciation Luncheon

Our annual teacher appreciation luncheon will be Wednesday May 7th. We are looking for volunteers to help with set up, serving, and cleaning up after.

Additionally, we are looking for sponsors and donations for the luncheon. With a $100 sponsorship, the students of the sponsoring families will have their pictures taken and the photos will be displayed at the luncheon and shared on social media.

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.

Background Check

If you’re interested in volunteering at Cox Mill Elementary, we’d love to have you on board! To ensure the safety of our students, all volunteers must complete a free Volunteer Background Check. The process takes about two weeks, and background checks must be renewed every two years. Thank you for helping us create a safe and supportive environment for our school community!
