Teacher's have loved the Duty-Free Lunches so far this year!
Any and all help is appreciated to help us staff the next one. Friday, Feb 6th.
Our February Duty-Free Lunch is scheduled on the same day as our Teacher and Staff Appreciation "Souperbowl Luncheon." This is to give teachers extra time to get their meal, and have a few moments to themselves to enjoy it.
Duty-Free Lunch volunteers are parent volunteers who assist with supervising students in the lunchroom, allowing teachers to eat during their scheduled block without their classes.
Volunteers will be responsible for:
-ensuring students stay seated
-Collect trash and wipe down tables as needed. K-2nd do not use the spray bottles, 3rd-5th have designated sweepers and table washers.
-Keep an eye out for students who need help opening their items or cleaning an unexpected mess
-have students ready to pack up 5 minutes before their teacher should arrive *all tables have a schedule*
-Teachers will collect their students from the cafeteria once their lunch time is over
Volunteers will be standing for their shift and walking down the lunch lines, please be prepared to be on your feet and moving for the entire shirt. Volunteers will need to stay for their entire shift but are welcome to work more than one. Parents are welcome to volunteer during their child's lunch period but are expected to help with the entire lunchroom and will not be able to sit with your child during the shift.
Volunteers, please arrive at least 5 minutes before your shift to allow time to sign-in at the front office, you will need your drivers license to get a volunteer sticker.
Thank you for supporting our staff!
